Abstract
This study was attempted to investigate the tendency of decline of hCG-¥â (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin-¥â) subunit value in cases of both miscarriage and normal childbirth, and also to find out the time of the ovulation in connection with whether they breast-fed or bottle-fed their babies in childbed.
In case of miscarriage, it took 6 weeks for the hCG-¥â value in the blood to return to normal while it took 3 weeks in case of normal childbirth.
The first ovulation recurred in 11 to 26 days after miscarriage, averaging 20¡¾2.31 days and the ovulation rate was 73%.
In the case of normal childbirth and breast-fed babies, the first ovulation recurred in 78 to 645 days after childbirth averaging 289.4¡¾79.64 days, and the ovulation rate was 49.6%.
In the case of normal childbirth and bottle-fed babies, the first ovulation recurred in 31 to 181 days after childbirth, averaging 79.8¡¾6.21 days, and the ovulation rate was 36.6%.
